Children with special needs in the Croatian educational system

Inclusive education implies that all children have different (special) needs which to be met. The prerequisite for meeting those are legal regulations related the of with special continually updated in accordance current scientific data. aim this research was determine whether there differences regulation on two levels: vertical – a comparison subsystems (early childhood and care primary secondary education) horizontal subgroups (children disabilities gifted children). conducted qualitative comparative analysis data sources (legal acts regulating Republic Croatia).The showed is better within school system than early system. Also, relating children. obtained results indicate need regulate systems groups order meet children’s needs.
